Netbook ACE

Hi there!  I’m Joe and this is a picture of me with my Dell Mini 9 — my first netbook!  I bought it on a whim, but have since fallen in love with the netbook and all it promises.  My current configuration:

• Dell Mini 9 w/ The Muse in Orange shell design
• Linux Ubuntu
• Intel Atom 1.60GHz
• 1 GB DDR2
• 32 GB SSD
• Integrated 1.3MP webcamera

I’ve become increasingly obsessed with all these little devices have to offer — I’ve never been quite satisfied trying to use a cell phone as a computer and, conversely, hated lugging around a 10 lb. laptop for the sake of “convenience.”  Netbooks are a happy medium and these unassuming devices are likely to become one of the hottest technology trends of 2009.
